The Infected beings are humans who have come into contact with XV. They are found in the BIO INT laboratory during the events of Xionic Madness 1, 1.5 and 2.

AppearanceEdit

Infected beings have a humanoid build. Just like the humans they are born from, infected beings posses an endoskeleton. However, that is were the similarities with human beings stop.

Their skin is mainly black, with some bioluminescent white stripes. Their blood is a dark purple that shines in the dark, which gives it a milky white color in dark environments. Their mouths, which are only seen when opened, have jagged irregular teeth, and their backs has two solid spikes at the scapular lever. However, their most prominent feature are their large, bladed tails that they use to stab their victims.

Infected beings have proven to be very aggressive and attack any form of life they see.

History Edit

Xionic Madness 1Edit

Infected being versus Omega

An infected being pins down Omega

These infected beings are first seen in XV's lab. Askad unintentionally sets them free when he removes the security locks leading into the area. He is stabbed by one of them immediately after. The infected creature lifts him up by the tail while looking at him menacingly. Askad then eliminates it with his Painkiller Stake, but due to his serious wounds, he decides to blow himself up in order to get rid of them. Before sacrificing himself, Askad gives Xero the N8 in order to complete the mission.

Xionic Madness 2Edit

The XV spawn appear briefly in this episode, and attack Xero, who swiftly kills them all, before destroying multiple BIO int. helicopters. The rest of the infected beings were likely destroyed after the N8 detonated.

AbilitiesEdit

Infected beings are stronger and more dangerous than regular humans. Their most prominent feature is their notable aggressiveness, as they attack everyone they come in contact with in almost suicidal attacks.

They also have several superhuman abilities:

  • Superhuman strength: Infected beings are strong enough to lift a full grown man with their tails without much effort. One of them also managed to pin Omega down for a few moments before been dispatched.
  • Superhuman speed: Infected beings usually employ quadrupedal locomotion, and they have proven to be faster than a regular human.
  • Superhuman agility: They are able to jump great distances and latch themselves to walls. They use their agility to perform sneak attack against unaware victims, or to jump head on against their preys.
